A Story of Renewed Passions
Horus is what happens when comfort, style, and functionality meet. Founded in 2016 by William Carbajal, Horus began as a hobby and slowly grew into a passion. “I wanted to create something that was comfortable yet stylish, and that every guy could buy,” Carbajal explains. “When I started this underwear line, the cuts and the designs that I wanted were about $30, so I planned to create a competitive, affordable brand.”
The entrepreneur states that once he had time to turn this passion into a reality, he was shocked by the buzz surrounding the comfort and price point of his underwear. But as with all successful ventures, one must figure out when to take a step back. After the launch, Carbajal decided to put Horus on the back burner and focus on the mounting success of his home enhancement business.
Today, the Horus line features two styles, a high-rise trunk, and no-show brief, in black, white, and charcoal grey. All Horus underwear currently features a classic black waistband with more contemporary silver band options on the way. “We’re starting with the underwear because that’s what I’ve done before, but we’re going to expand more into swimwear and outerwear throughout 2021,” Carbajal says. Also accompanying the Horus swimwear line will be tank tops and hats. The complete collection will be a perfect harmony of easy-wearing classics with a contemporary twist.
